NIST Fire Research

pnbspOver the past 4 years the team from NIST Fire Research has been conducting tests at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center. They have tested many different aspects of firefighting from ventilation to hose streams and building construction. Many members of GFD have been heavily involved in assisting with this valuable research. Captains Righter and McGowan Firefighters Bramble McBride and Embert have put in countless hours to learn and understand the information being provided. Tower 5 has been utilized during their research. Now that their contract has concluded we would like to thank them for allowing us to be apart of this incredible research. We wish them the best of luck in their future research endeavors. nbspppbr typemozppBelow is the link to the NIST Fire Research Twitter for the most updated progress on their researchnbsphttpstwitter.comNISTFirep
