While clearing an EMS run in the first due this morning, Engine 5 copied and responded to Box 1 for a Building Fire. Squad 1 (Folcroft Fire Co. Station 1) arrived to smoke showing from a 2 story middle of the row in the 3000 Block of Heather Rd.
Engine 5 arrived as the 2nd due engine, securing a supply for Squad 1 and assisted with making the stretch. Crews located a fire on Division 2.
Company 5 operated for less than two hours before returning. This was one of six calls Company 5 operated on so far this new year.
